🔔 Notifications on your phone and computer
Turn on notifications in Settings and we'll ping you when a video is ready (no more waiting on the page), when a video didn't finish, when one of your channels posts, and when a message lands in your inbox. Each kind has its own switch, there's a test button, and the render screen has a one-tap "Ping me when it's ready". On iPhone and iPad they work from the app on your Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or newer); on Android, Windows and Mac they work in the browser too. The app icon also shows how many inbox messages are unread. Free on every plan.

🎃 Halloween is here, with a sale
The site is dressed up until Halloween night: bats, ghosts, fog and a witch on her broom over the front page, a harvest moon, lanterns, pumpkin colours, and Pip and the logo in witch hats. Your dashboard gets its own night sky with drifting ghosts, a cobweb on the welcome card and a pumpkin hello. The Halloween Sale takes 45% off your first month of Creator on monthly billing, until Halloween night. The decorations follow your Look setting (Clean turns them off) and only move when animations are on Full.

🧰 Pasted prompts, your uploads and YouTube links behave
Paste a prompt written for a video AI (camera moves, style and format notes) into Use my own script and it now says so before reading any of it aloud, with one tap to write the narration from it instead; even read word for word, its style, audio and format notes stay unsaid. If the page reloads while your photos or clips are uploading to My media, they're picked back up when it comes back. A line someone says no longer gets painted into the picture as fake subtitles. And a YouTube link that only lets us read its title asks for the transcript instead of making up a video from the title.

📊 Survive It: numbers on screen, rule cards, a vote at the end
Survive It videos can keep their running numbers in three tiles across the top (days, what you have left, how many are after you), changing the moment the narrator says them. Rules you learn and two-way choices pop up on their own cards. Turn on the vote ending and the last line asks viewers to pick your next move, with two buttons to comment. Plus Rainy Noir, a new look: blank-faced little people in rainy, lamp-lit streets.

🌀 Glitch Series Studio, with a ding on every pop-up
Every odd thing your body or mind does, one per video: hypnic jerks, sleep paralysis, brain freeze. Each part opens on the whole series as a menu, a bright ding plays as it zooms in and again when the glitch's name pops up on its title card. Drawn in Color Doodle, a new look: stick figures and colourful doodles on white. Habit Series can play the dings too.

🗂️ Fold the menu sections, read every feature request
Each section of the menu (Create, Grow, Tools, Discover, Account) now folds away with a tap on its heading, and stays the way you left it. And on the feature request board, a long request has a Read more, so you can see everything somebody asked for.

🎙️ A locked voice offers one you can use
Tapping a voice your plan doesn't include used to send you straight to the pricing page, and the video then came out in whatever voice was still picked. Now the voice step stays put and names the closest voice on your plan, same gender and as close in tone as we have, with one tap to use it.

🔍 Smooth push camera
A new camera option: each picture gets one slow push in that eases in from still and settles right on the cut, the smooth look story channels use. Pick it under Camera in the wizard, a studio or your channel settings.

↩️ Back takes you back to where you were
Open a video from far down your dashboard, press back, and you land on the same spot with the same videos showing, instead of the top of a fresh dashboard. It works with your browser's back, the phone's back, the app's Back button and the Dashboard link on a video page, and your channel filter, search, sort and "Show more" stay as you left them.

🌍 What If Studio: one change, followed for ten years
Type a "what if" (every cockroach dies tonight, the Moon disappears, every bee stops flying) and the video follows what happens next in jumps of time: Night 1, Month 1, Year 1, Year 10. Each stage is one real place with one real figure, then a twist, the alternative and a question for your viewers. A panel in the corner shows the stage, its place and its figure, a red stamp lands as each stage ends, and the title opens the video with its key word in red. Every figure on screen is one the narrator says, and the facts are checked.

🌫️ New art style: Sim World
A moody low-poly 3D look, like a simulation game: flat matte colours, soft haze and a camera low in the scene. It starts on Seedream, which draws it best, and you can pick any model you like.

🎬 The opening you pick is the opening you get
When you choose how a video opens under How it opens, your video now starts that way every time. Before, some niches' own opener could win over your pick, and a few niches still put "Did you know..." in front of it. Paper Doodle videos in Motivation and Stoic Wisdom are also written as a talk now, with short section headings and punch lines, so their heading pages and hand-lettered notes show up.
October 14, 2026 · Feature
🔖 Ask viewers to save your video
Turn on "Ask viewers to save it" under How it opens (and in the Survive It, Every Type, Habit Series and Say This Instead studios) and your narrator adds one short line asking people to save the video, right before the part most worth coming back to: the key tip, the method, the answer. It's never on the opening, never on the last line, and it never asks for likes, shares or follows. Free, for English videos. Channels keep the setting too.

🗒️ Paper Doodle talks: section cards and arrow notes
A Motivation or Stoic Wisdom video in the Paper Doodle look now reads like the doodle channels it comes from. Each big point opens on a plain page with its heading in small bold capitals, and a few short lines are hand-lettered beside the picture with an arrow pointing at the figure. Every word is one the narrator says. There's also a new hook style, A promise: the video opens by asking for its few minutes and saying what will change for you by the end.

🧟 Special formats have their own studios
Survive It, Every Type Explained, Habit Series and Say This Instead each have a studio of their own now, so the video wizard is just the regular niches (true crime, animals, history and the rest). A studio asks only what its format needs: the idea (with ideas to tap and a button for fresh ones), the length and shape, its best looks with their price, the camera, captions, narrator, music and sound. Find them on your dashboard and under "Or use a studio" in the wizard. Your channels in these niches post exactly as before.

🗂️ A compact view for your channels
Switch your dashboard's channels to Compact and each one becomes a small tile, two or more to a row, so every channel fits on one screen. Tap a tile to see its videos, or its settings button to change how it posts. Your choice is remembered on this device, and Cards brings the full view back.

✨ Pictures that are still loading shimmer
Art style tiles, niche covers, video thumbnails and loading lists now show a soft moving light while their picture is on its way, instead of an empty box. It settles into a still tint if a picture never arrives, and it stays still if you've set animations to Simple or Off.

🏷️ Looks drawn on pricier models now show their price
A few art styles draw every picture on a pricier image model, or edit every shot from one character sheet: Voxel World, Block World, Viral Skeleton, Cartoon Explainer, Cooking Show and the fruit look, plus any video made from a reference image you upload. Long videos already counted that; shorter ones now do too, so these looks add credits to a video of 3m 15s or less (Voxel World +1 to +3, the character looks +2 to +4, Cooking Show +3 to +4, the fruit look +5 to +8, a reference image +2 to +4, by length; more at a faster picture pace). Every style tile in the wizard shows what it adds before you pick it, and every other look costs exactly what it did.

🧾 Image model prices match your picture pace
A dearer image model now shows what it adds at the picture pace you picked, the same amount you're charged: Seedream on a short video reads +2 credits at Standard and +6 at Rapid, because Rapid draws three times the pictures. This is in the video wizard and in a channel's auto-post settings. Story sound also leaves creaks, clicks, booms and doors out of the background, so they can't play at a random moment.

🧶 Stick Story starts on its best model and holds still
Pick the Stick Story look and your video now starts on Seedream, the model that draws its bare stick figures in tidy, moody rooms (you'll see its price, and you can switch to any model). It holds each picture still like the videos it comes from, with pans one tap away under Camera. And story sound effects land on the word that names them: a knock or a bang no longer plays a few seconds later under the next line.

🧟 Survive It: a real cliffhanger, and you in your own home
Survive It videos now end the way the format should: on the threat's next step, closer than before, instead of a surprise fact. Close-ups inside your home (the tap, the fridge, the door) show you, in your hat and scarf, never a stranger. Supply cards say the same day the narrator says, sit above the captions on wide videos, and stay still so their numbers are never cropped.

⬅️ A Back button in the app
Opened from your home screen, the app has no browser around it, so there was no way back except the logo. Now a Back button sits at the top left and takes you to the page you were on before. It skips sign-in and account connect screens, and it only shows in the app: in a browser tab, use the browser's own back.

🖼️ Picture pace: Fast and Rapid
Narrated videos can change picture more often now. In the wizard's Visuals step, pick Picture pace: Standard (one picture a line), Fast (a new picture about every 3 seconds) or Rapid (about every 2 seconds, like the viral reels). Your script stays the same: longer lines are cut where the narrator pauses, and every piece gets its own picture. Each option shows what it adds to this video's price, from 1 credit. Channels can post at a faster pace too, and so can the Skeleton Studio. Conversations, your own scripts and your own media keep one picture a line.
